Pack Smart : Tips and Tricks

Vacation is here and you are all ready to travel. But the idea of packing all the things you will need on the trip can stress you out. You don’t have to be with this easy travel and packing hacks. Pack smart and travel stress-free.

Consider what to bring before you start packing. So if you are going somewhere with lots of beach and seaside, you wouldn’t really need to bring a huge and bulky beach umbrella. But if you have a beach umbrella specially made for travelling, then you can consider it.

Don’t bring your entire wardrobe. Plan what to bring and use pairing so as to bring less and avoid bringing unnecessary clothes during the trip.

Packing tips that will go along way.

  • Fold and Roll. For sure, you might know this trick already but it always top the list when it comes to packing for a trip. Why? Because it saves you space and allow you to pack more than what you can.  Fold in even layers and use every inch.
  • Bulkiest items first. Stuff shoes with small items like socks and underwear. Put them in plastic bags first before stuffing them into the shoes. erwear. Place belts laid out along the edge.
  • Fill the gaps with small item. Rolled t-shirts and camisoles can fill the gap. Lay out larger items like jeans, jackets, and dresses in flat layers. Pack them in an overlapping layer formation.
  • Travel size bottles. Fill these empty bottles with your personal essentials like shampoo, powder, lotion, cologne, and etc. This saves space and time, and is good for the environment. Use a square of plastic wrap over the opening before sealing the bottle.
  • Keep delicate jewellery in a seal plastic wrap or you can use a medicine organizer to keep them all safe. Keep earrings together by securing them in a button hole. This makes it visible and easy to find.
  • Go digital. You wouldn’t need books where you are going. You will just need your phone. Download what you need. Maps, ebooks, and music – everything in your mobile or tablet.
